I am not even getting into the transportation and/or storage. Not even addressing these so-called "new type" reactors that you cite. "...new ones that use a different type of fuel in a different method, are "almost benign" sounds like industry hype, and any thinking person would refuse to accept this as any kind of description or definition of either the hardware or the system used to operate and control it.
You should watch the show I mentioned... "Pandora's Promise" I was 100% against nuclear power, but now, I F R type of reactors are a different breed and could actually work, today...
