Kindaslow Your bike is definitely not hideous and is definitely viable as transportation, commuting or whatever. The 41 section is sort of schizophrenic, lot of A-holes but a lot of nice people, too. Don't let it get you down.

I found the comment humorous, and the individual a jerk. I still find the comment humorous, and my guess is he is still a jerk.
This bike is a nice bike, functional, and decent looking for a commuter (my opinion). Commuter bikes need to be based on function for the user and sometimes that means less clean lines.
