Growing up: 2x5 was 10spd and 2x6 was 12spd it has taken me a bit to calling my 2x10 a 10spd set-up. I would like to see the new "12spd" and "14spd" set ups run as 1x12 or 1x14 with a nice wide range like an 11-34 mtb cassette.

As 53-11 indicated the rear should get spread to at least the 135mm MTB std but why not go a little further and use the 140mm tandem std. It seem to me that they could move the weight in wheels to the hub reducing rotational weight.
