Maybe try swapping out your shoes? Which ones have you been using? I also stuck with the look pedals and cleats. I think the bigger cleats are more comfy.

Last Tuesday (3/29) was brutal in the afternoon with the headwind going north on the Hudson Greenway. Glad I held back a bit (stayed one gear lower then I could have pushed). Was still a bit tired toward the end. Also used the drops across the GWB for stability in the crosswind. Last week was a nice change of pace cycle commuting from Leonia, NJ all the way down to Battery Park.
