1) Yes, you lean your body away from the turn but hold your bike into the turn.

2) Professional fitters always say horizontal, and they use a level/ruler to make sure it is.

3) Point your handlebar-ends in a straight line at your rear brake calipers.

4) Three to Four minute mile, but it varies +/- with road conditions, hills, wind, etc.

5) Your local bike shop (LBS) will have information. Try Helen's Cycles for a start.

6) Just ride, baby!
