Right now the current project with it is treking (butterfly) bars.
With this bike- maybe you can market it as a 'ruff stuff tourer' like a Long Haul Trucker. This bike has most of the trappings of a great tourer- huge chainstays, pannier rack and fender mounts front and rear, excellent components. I think Pastor Bob has posted the angles for these bikes- there was a separate catalog for the ATBs/MTBs in 1986. It might be neat to compare the angles on these ATBs to the LHT.
The Fork on these is so badass- that lugged unicrown with the lowrider braze on and dual eyelets on the fork end.... Just incredible.
Good luck with the Sale~!!!
Thanks! I thought about putting drops on it for the sale but I also figured it was so close to original spec. that somebody who was looking for one would be more interested in it "as found". Anyway we will see where it in ends up. This is reminding me why I hate selling stuff on CL. You have to keep pimping it to get noticed unless its a giveaway.
