Bikes: Idworx off rohler 2011, Brompton

New member from Belgium!

Hi,

I'm a new member from Belgium,
I was cycling a lot when I was a kid, then I was going to school by bike when I was a teenager.
Then I got a car and didn't ride anymore for about 20 years...

5 years ago, I restart cycling with a Brompton, for commuting with the train.
Now, I'm really interested in touring, and I have a German touring bike (idworx off-rohler).
This a really good bike for long distance touring as it can handle a lot of load, is very stable, reliable, etc.

I'm planning to buy another bike a bit more "Sporty" but still able to have fenders and racks.
I'm looking for a steal frame mainly for the comfort. I had an aluminium dropbar bike with 25 tyres but it was really not comfortable for me.
I'm looking into things like surly crosscheck, trek 520, Kona, salsa, German stuff, etc....
Here in Belgium we do not have that much to choose from in bike shops. There are mostly carbon and aluminium road bike, mtb, and electrics.
I want something like 35 for my tyres, dropbars, and a medium upright position on the bike.

I enjoy reading the forum in my quest for this new bike!
Sorry for my approximate English but I'm a French speaker.
