My first couple of attempts were successful in the short term, but not the long term. A light mounted on each side of the fork works well, and is desirable. Two flash lights for example, one on each side. With most lights the mounting bracket is not wide enough to fit around the fork blade. Some do not have enough rotation to make up for the angle of the fork, the light points up.
