The popularity of Japanese frames has definitely grown over the last year... it seems that the Italians were really the primary object of desire before. This also seems to be somewhat of a regional thing (although I may be crazy.) Chicago folks seem to love the Italians more than east coast folk, who seem to like keirin frames more.
