I'd be very hard pressed to call this bicycle mid-range, let alone high end. While it does have aluminum rims it has a SunTour AG rear derailleur with a claw adapter versus direct attachment to a dropout hanger. The rear wheel is fastened via nuts versus a quick release skewer. The rear dropouts are stamped versus forged. While it it does have a CrMo decal, the frame is only partial CrMo. Note how it says "SPECIAL TUBE". It's not the plural version. This was a common ploy by manufacturers to save costs. Use CrMo in one or three of the main tubes and make the rest of the frameset out of less costly material. Most customers would look at the decal, without reading it carefully, and think that they were getting a full CrMo frameset. IMO this subject bicycle is a typical, mid-1980s, upper entry level ATB.
