If those brake levers are original, i think they are, its one of the examples where the US market Miyatas differed from the Candaian market Miyatas.
Around 86 and 87 some small differences appear. Other years might have slight dofferences too, not sure.
Anyways, the Canadian market '86 912 had non-aero levers. The markets got different levels of 600 for a year or two.
