I've shown a few pics of this frame and it's 'Harding Story' in a Holdsworth thread or two so I'll keep the story short here. George Harding was a Cork Irishman who was involved in many aspects of cycling. He had a couple of shops and also ran cycle touring programmes and racing in Ireland. He arranged to buy Holdsworth frames rebadged for his interests. There was a relative in the USA - Charlie Harding - who had bicycle shop in the Los Angeles area. I am assuming this bike came to America to be sold in Charlie's store in LA. I acquired it as a frame and fork late last year. As a Harding, this marquee (so to speak) has been on my radar for a couple of decades.

edit: I have yet to do a proper check-out ride. The saddle in this position felt comfortable for around the block, but will likely get adjusted. Still a work in progress as I need Campy brakes and levers, but it needed to be put on the road. This bike has another wheelset for cyclocross style tires for white roads and the VO crankset (46/30) appropriate for cruising gravelly hills.
