I checked out the co-op. I saw a french bike that looked cool. The brakes seemed to not really work on it. They co-op person told me they sell bikes for people to put together. That made me a little uneasy because I want a bike that is fully functional right away. The shop that I went to goes over old bikes and tunes them up, so I would be more comfortable riding one of those bikes. I guess I'll keep checking them and Craigslist out to see if I can find something within my price range.
