The subject rim is an Araya model 7B. The Japanese bicycle rim industry was based on standardized model designations, defined by the cross-section and material. Variables such as diameter, width and hole count did not alter the model number. Nor did the manufacturer. This design would be a model 7B whether it was manufactured by Araya, Kaga or Ukai, who were the big three of the Japanese bicycle rim industry during this era.
