I don't trust the New York times. Remarks like "two sports bars that were indistinguishable in taste, although one contained gluten and the other did not."
No mention of any other ingredients or bi products.
I cut out grains as a whole food group, as it was wreaking havoc on my diabetes. Any and all grains cause a spike in my blood sugar, which leads to my body creating insulin which leads to an obese 635 LB male. YMMV
