Fruita MTBing is awesome...more accurately described as Mary's Loop area trails...features some of the best MTBing Colorado has to offer. Some would argue better MTBing than Moab. Just north of Fruita, the next freeway exit....maybe 15 minute drive from GJ. Also 18 road which is northeast of Fruita. Both are very well known MTB areas whose great reputation does not exceed reality! Make sure you do Mary's Loop area early in your stay, because you're sure to go back many times...
