The Diamond series were Kabuki's top of the line models. Depending on the exact year, they offered in up to three different versions: road, track and touring. The "12" designation indicates 12 speed, so we can eliminate the track version. It also indicates it is newer than the model in the linked article, probably very late 1970s to very early 1980s. The literature that I have from this period shows Diamond models ranging from double butted CrMo frames with Superbe components, down to plain gauge CrMo frames with Cyclone components.
