Why would I look at a drawing of a proprietary Specialized hub design to figure out what the chain line of a road crank is? Shimano clearly states 43.5 mm for Dura ace, ultegra and 105. Same as its been for as long as I can remember. It even says so on the drawing you posted in #9 . I see no reason to believe its all of a sudden 41.5 mm as you claim, unless you can provide some reference.
