There is a big difference between appending a new question to an old thread and answering someone seven years later.
I'm guessing a lot of people can't think outside the box and realize that people come here to look at the thread for information. I didn't realize that this info had a shelf life.
Just because the OP may not look at this doesn't mean tons of people who won't respond or even sign up for an account can't look at the info here.
