I think that's going to be one of my biggest problems in the winter - riding in ice and snow. Here it doesn't get cold at all during the day. VERY rarely under 25F, so clothing isn't a problem. But sliding, skidding, losing control, using inadequate tires - those are. I don't really have any experience but I came upon a website that was exactly for winter cycling.
