The paintwork is original and in pretty good condition for a 43 year old frame. I'd obviously like to keep it original.

Interestingly, the HOLDSWORTH decals on the top and down tubes are not actually decals, they are hand painted:



... and the paint is starting to flake off in parts. This bike is going to be ridden so the paint has to be stabilized and protected first.
