Connecting & disconnecting the Dinotte DayTime Red Tail Light from the battery & bike
Hello folks,
I'm considering buying the Dinotte DayTime Red Tail Light and I am wondering how people go about managing the use of a tail light with an external battery when it comes to anti-theft measures and recharging.
When you need to recharge the battery, do you disconnect the cord that goes from the battery to the light and just take the battery off the bike to recharge it?
When you park your bike somewhere, if you are going to take both your light and battery off your bike, do you disconnect the light from the battery in doing this?
I'm wondering how robust the connector that joins the battery to the light is and if you are meant to try and minimise the number of times you separate them from each other?
I was thinking that I would connect my battery under my rear rack central plate, so that it is somewhat disguised and only take my tail light off the bike when I park it somewhere, but then got to thinking about how sturdy the connector between light and battery is.
What has been people's experiences with something like this?
