I DO have a problem with people saying that their noodly titanium bike with down tube shifters is as good (efficient/functional) as my carbon fiber bike with integrated shifters. The more you ride, the better you get, the better you're able to discern and benefit from the amazing technology that's available in the marketplace.
I've probably bought my last road bike, but new mountain bikes are singing their siren's song for me and my wife.
