My 1987 Marinoni has a special feel. There's something about the responsiveness, ride quality, handling and comfort that are just "better", and always makes me want to ride it farther. I wouldn't necessarily call it "fast", although it isn't the reason why I'm not fast (probably something about the motor...) And it is certainly a willing partner when I am feeling fast. It was still very comfortable after a 140-mile day last year. I was definitely ready to call an end to that day, but the 70-mile day after was just as great on that bike as the first 70 had been on Day 1. BTW, mine is fully chrome-plated under the paint. Rear triangle is all bare chrome that still looks great after 29 years.

I sold a lovely Rivendell because it didn't have that same satisfying and fun feel as the Marinoni.
