I answered from the perspective of what an experienced rider can average. I did not qualify, but was thinking on a primarily flattish, rolling type road without needing to stop, and CAN average - meaning they are trying hard to average that. What came to mind was the road near our house which is ridden by tens (maybe hundreds) of thousands each year https://www.strava.com/segments/675641 Those numbers I posted would be typical for an experienced cyclist on that road. That is a segment. Most on that road are passing through - to/from San Clemente and Oceanside. Typically these riders are going 30+ miles.

Actually Strava would be a good place to compare to.
