Any way you can post pics? I'm in the same situation, same bike, 35mm PB hardcore fenders. My plan, when I have a minute, is to drill a hole in the metal clip near the front of the fender, then put a bolt through it. That seems to be the only attachment point I'm having a problem with, and only because the front derailleur gets in the way of the clip. Tubus makes a rack that has an extra mount point so you can attach your fenders to the rack. Since I'm looking for a new rack anyway, thought I might splurge.
