Replacement wheel options for Trek Elance 400T

I have a '87 Trek Elance 400T that I was converting into a gravel grinder. Repacked the hubs, mounted some Richey Speedmax Cross Comp 700x35 tires. When I had the rear wheel apart I noticed some scrapes on the spokes like the chain got sucked into the spokes. Didn't think much of it until I was spinning the wheel and noticed its egg shaped. Spun fast enough, everything on the rear wheel moves up and down to match the bad spot on the rim. I'm concerned now that the axle may be weak or bent. I doubt its worth attempting to fix, especially for the intended use. They are the stock Matrix Titan S wheels.

What are my options for a replacement set? I realize I could just look out for another set, but I'm a little anxious to get this thing on the road since I've already spent a fair amount of time on this build. I know it is a long shot, but are there any readily available wheel sets used or new that could replace these wheels? I'd rather not change anything on the bike, so I'd like to keep the freewheel so I can just slap what I have on another wheel/wheelset and get going.
