This is funny. My wife and I ride daily. I just found Strava a few days ago. So I am new to Strava and learning it's possibilities. We went for a ride in a area that is used by a lot of riders.
At one point we see a fit female rider gasping as if she had just sprinted and was cooling down. Along comes a solo rider skinning it. Then three guys at WOT. I told my wife they all must be using a certain parking lot and hammering the end of their ride.
When I got home I found on Strava I had a trophy for some section. I told my wife this app is cool and she should have a trophy too.
Last night I was clicking tabs on the Strava app and found the mini drag strips. Upon clicking on the red flags I found the section were we seen the riders hammering it.
Some of the KOM pictures were a couple of the riders we seen. The female is fastest of the week.
I like this as I plan to hit some of the sections this week and see where I land.
I'm don't know how to start a Strava speed section yet but I do have a couple places in mind once I figure it out.
