These may do in case it can't be repaired. I calmed down some and I'll probably take the wheel to a shop and see what they can do.

Guess I have to pay the tax. Not completely done, kind of had the wind knocked out of my sails with the realization of the bent wheel.

Damaged or broken spokes can be the cause of a rim being out of true. Relaxing/loosening all of the spokes will allow the rim to revert to it's true condition.
If you loosen all of the spokes and the rim flattens out, you can probably save it by replacing the damaged spokes, retensioning the spokes, and then truing the wheel.
If you loosen all of the spokes and the rim is bent beyond salvage, then I noticed that Velomine is also selling a set of Alex Rims with R400 rims and Shimano 105 wheel hubs (8,9,10 cassette rear freehub) for $119 (this could be what oddjob2 is referring to). The wheel set show out of stock, but you could call them to see if they are expecting any more at the sale price (regular price is $140).
That is a good question, I have not tried that. Here is an picture of where the spokes are damaged:
At the three o'clock position is a good example of the damage, you can also feel the bend when you run your finger along the spoke. I'm 90% sure the axle is bent, if turned by hand with the skewer out you can see the end wobble up and down.

I will, not sure if I can PM yet or not.
Edit: Yeah, still no PMs. Maybe email?
