Thanks for the tip. Just bought as many as they'd sell me.
Though I've never, ever had a problem with the rivet pin connectors, and have had problems with the connect-links all three times I've tried them. (One of them admittedly being Shimano's original 7900 link, another being the expensive German Wipperman Connex, and the third being a Sram link installed on a Dura Ace chain.)

Now I'm concerned Shimano might be doing the same thing to cassettes too...

Anybody have any news on that?
