What a bunch of morons. Beta testing on some of the fittest young people on the planet. The great human experiment...basically taking a bike with one dangerous chainring and adding two more aka disks thereby dramatically increasing the probability of getting hacked in a pile up.

Wait for the outcry. Due to palpable stupidity they will reinact this 'trial' and a perfectly healthy rider will go down in a massive pile and become badly hacked needlessly. As sure as the sun will rise in the morning. Can't make this stuff up. The bike industry wanting to sell new bikes sure has their thumb on the UCI, the riders being the victims. If two riders get hacked and the UCI isn't smart enough to pull the plug on disks, the riders will have to boycott to keep from getting maimed by fat guys making stupid rules.
