Regardless, hypothermia can be a threat at even moderate ambient air temps. Children and older adults are more susceptible to hypothermia. Add medications into the mix and it becomes more problematic.

Hypothermia is strange. There have been cases of people who have died, even though the conditions were not severe. Then, our special forces are trained to endure conditions that should bring about hypothermia and still function with fine motor tasks. Like the guy below your posts, above this post, I never feel it too much unless I have to stop for an extended time, even in very cold weather.
