I got sick of trying to figure out if and how I could put a shim that could cut my hand wide open into my 27.2 seat tube on my M80, so I just popped my old road stem, an EA50, 26.8 in there. Ah...miraculous.
How cheesy? 4 out of 10 cheeseballs, so not very cheesy.
