It would help if you could better identify the specifc problems. Which gears work well, which don't ? Under what conditions ?

Looks like your chain is off the front chainrings ?

Without spending money, Look up some videos on adjusting the rear derailleur, which may be the problem.
If the bike has been crashed or dropped on the derailleur side, then a bent rear derailleur can cause all kinds of problems.

ParkTool has repair tips, but something seems wrong with their site. I can see the main topics, but the article does not show up.
