My original 1972 PX-10 Mavic rear wheel with the Normandy hubs accept a standard ISO freewheel no problem. I just tried it and it goes on like butter and it has a grove. To quote Sheldon Brown's website "virtually all French bicycles sold in the U.S. had standard British/I.S.O. freewheel threads"
