Well , (wipes tear, composes self ), for one I think the cash will be going to Jolly Old England and two, I "technically" have the cash up front. However, when you are not paying the morgage on you're "own" home yet, it can get hairy.

Harris, I have to agree with your logic. My rigid is ok now that I moved all my RH parts down to it and put a rigid fork on it. I like my hopper, but the cockpit has never really fit me and the fork is not what my 6ft 230lb butt finds stable. The RH is an 19" and the Diamondback is an 18", but the top tube length is longer on the Diamondback and it feels better. I feel stupid for even looking, especially at a bike I can not testride even if it should fit me great just by looking at the numbers.

I either need a new fork for the RH, so two to three bills on a reba sl or something, for a bike that I am not totally satisfied with. Or, I get a steel frame 29'er with a rigid fork and no gears.

Perhaps I should stop wasting everyones time worrying about buying bikes and start riding one of the ones I have. *Shakes fist at ceiling tiles but imagines sky* can't you hold it in for a few days.
