If you have severe comfort issues, i might no hurt to talk to a bike fitter before blindly throwing money at the problem.
In general riding the bike is not really uncomfortable, it's just this numbness issue. I bought this one because I felt quite comfortable on it and it feels quite alright to me.

What do you mean by more neutral handlebar position and what do I need to do to get it there?

I had the same issue early on.
For a while my saddle titled down and I just rode it like that, but I didn't notice much difference. I was just sliding off more.
