Wow, thanks for doing some digging on this.

You're right about the cinch bolt collar going away and the ears taking over in the 60's. Most of the Frejus I've seen have the collar.

Those pictures you provided (which are from an eBay ad I also found) look spot on. The newer paint on my frame is covering any serial number that might be stamped into the seat tube, but once I figure out what to do with it I may remove the paint.

Any other Frejus aficionados in the crowd that could help narrow down the date or production information?
