I have not been able to equal it, though, despite owning, and test riding, a wide variety of bikes, both vintage and current, and in between. Some bikes are closer than others, but none of them is really very close.

One option I was considering is matching it -- either with a custom build or with another bike with the same geometry and similar tubing.

Another option is CL, which I am definitely considering too.

If anyone knows of bikes that might give a similar, lively ride quality, please let me know. Maybe one of them will be equal or even better.
