What kind would it be? A mountain bike, roadie, hybrid, cross, gravel grinder? What would be your Swiss Army knife of bikes?
I have three, but really only use one. It's a road with 28mm Gatorskin tires on it. Sometimes, like when I know I am just riding on smooth bike paths, I'll put 25mm racing tires on it. I see about a 2mph difference over a 5 hour ride. So, it seems to matter. But, most of my rides are commutes. I need the more durable, wide tire for those.
