TA Pro Vis 5 crank set on modern frame

Just wondering about installing a triple version on a newer frame using 135mm rear spacing ( Shimano 9 speed cassette ). Currently I am using a Sugino XD600 ( I believe there is a Shimano UN 55 118mm bottom bracket currently installed ). I test fitted the cranks and it was obvious I needed something closer to 127mm or so in order to insure the inner chain ring will clear the stay, I realize that an ISO crank arm will sit a bit further out on a JIS spindle - any thoughts? I probably could have used a 113mm bottom bracket with the Sugino but I have no issues with the fact that they are further out.
