It's all anecdotes to me. I did watch the video though and they complained that the carbon-rim brakes had a delayed and unpredictable onset, edit: when wet (relative to the disc brakes at least). Other accounts on the net corroborate this and go farther to say that's true relative to aluminum too, but I'm not going to claim I know.
