it's not uncommon to wear flipflops
with a suit. but socks only in the
coldest part of winter.

you often see manual laborers
digging ditches, breaking concrete,
running air hammers.....in a suit
and flipflops. and ladies on
construction sites with babies
strapped to their backs shoveling
gravel....in high heels.

biking in tevas and socks? ok!
