Bikes: 2013 Surly Disc Trucker, 2004 Novara Randonee , old fixie , etc

I had same design Teva sandals a few years ago & loved 'em but hadn't seen local stores with them lately. Ankle & forefoot straps keep them snug & they don't have problematic toe thong. They worked well for walking & local rides, didn't try them for touring. Plus they give ample room for winter socks unlike some bike shoes that can get tight. I'd reckon the Gore-Tex/wool combo actually works better without shoe uppers compressing water thru.
