OP: Don't become a motorcyclist to become a better cyclist, become a motorcyclist because you love it. Both have their unique sensations and advantages, but I couldn't choose one or give up the other. Have had a few track days and ridden up and down Palomar Mountain a few hundred times, the best things motorcycling on the track taught me was to resist the tendency to clench up in tight corners and to look-through the turn.
Edit: those, and that going 50 on a bike really ain't too big a deal after you've become comfortable going 80+ on a freeway for hours on end.
