What year is my Bianchi roadbike?

Hiya all Bianchi afficionados out there..

I am trying to put a year and figure out what level of quality my recently aquired vintage steel Bianchi is(pre 1992 due to the downtube shifters), that I picked up at a local yard sale in Brussels for 45 euros...
Have added some pics here....
rear drop outs and the head stem rings by Gipiemme, rear derailleur shimano dura ace, other components(brakes, cranks, gear shifters, front gear) compagnolo, 2X7 gears....
saddle/brake cables/brakelevers+handlebars/plastic pedals were added by me and not originally on this bike

so my questions:

Any ideas what year, model this is? The chrome fork with sloping shoulders stands out compared to what I have seen in similar 80s bike pics on the web.

Thinking about upgrading the frame with some modern parts like brakes and clip in pedals, would you guys consider this ´worth it´, as I have learned that there were different price/quality frames built for Bianchi in both Italy and Japan....not a good idea use if the frame was a lower spec product.

Thanks in advance for all info you may want to share....!
