I would also add that, while the Cannondale 3.0 frame is a VERY fast and nimble bike, it is really not well suited to general purpose riding and commuting, which is what the OP is looking to use it for. It's really, strictly a racing machine - optimized for that in the extreme, at the expense of comfort. I could not in good conscience recommend it for a first-time road bike buyer. OTOH, if someone was looking for a high performance sprinting bike at a good price to get into racing, it would be ideal for that application.
