Hey folks. I'm a Kentuckian that currently lives in Montana, and am moving again in a few months (not sure where to yet...).
I commuted by bike a lot when I was in college and then it fell off my radar as a means of transportation until I moved to Missoula, which is an amazingly bike-friendly town. (I highly recommend stopping in Missoula if you're biking the TransAm.) Now I bike everywhere.
I have a Univega Viva Sport road bike that I love. I also have a crappy mountain bike that I bought just for winter commuting (this was my first year as an all-weather cyclist and I'm hooked), and an old school Free Spirit Cruiser that my boyfriend has borrowed so often it's probably technically his now...
I went on my first two bike overnights last year, and I also rode the
Hiawatha Trail. My goals for this year are to get in a bunch more overnights/tours this summer, as well as ride the Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park.
I guess that's all for now!
