Of course.
I assume the tires are tubular sew-ups? I did a quick check of 700 cm tubular tires... at *least* $30 apiece online. The average seems to be more like 50-60. We're talking $60-$100 just for tires, plus a saddle, plus new handlebar tape.
I just want to unload the bike and it will take well over $100 by my estimates to make it rideable, plus the time sunk mounting the tires, wrapping the tape, etc. I'm thinking of cleaning and lubing all exterior parts and offering it for $200, and come down to 150.
I've considered the tires on the bike goners, but I should see if they will at least hold air at pressure so the bike can be ridden briefly. If they're useable for someone to try the bike I'll go for "full retail" price. If not I'll mark it down low.
How does this sound?
