Hi folks, picked up this Bianchi that had been left in the sun to bake and the rain to rust, and have been putting some time into fixing it up. I knew it was a quality bike just by looking at it, but had no idea about the specific model, until doing some research today. As far as I can gather, it seems to be an '83 Grizzly, which makes me very happy, since one of my fave bikes is an '86 Grizz. It is such a different bike in appearance (more ornate and classic looking) and components from the '86 I have, (Suntour v. Shimano) that, before today, I had never considered that it might be a Grizzly, but some web info I've seen suggests it is-Mountech derailleurs, Suntour shifters, bull moose handlebars, Tourney XT cranks.. . What do you folks think? Am I right? Serial number is JS396749. BTW the frame is super baked and faded, but it had tape on it in certain places, and you can see the original very beauteous blue it once was. And, I might add, it rides awesomely.
